Now to the one who can do infinitely more than all we can ask or
imagine according to the power that is working among us…
~ Ephesians 3:20 ~
TO INFINITY AND BEYOND
We are not a one-size-fits all school, but our determination and obligation will go whatever distance it takes to let others experience what happens here and make this their “home.”
That’s just what we do here. As parents and/or families of ILS, we know what our purpose is here. We know what the mission statement reads on the left. We know that we love the atmosphere/environment, the attention our children get, and the infinite amount of wisdom and life skills they will take from here. But what about others? Do they know what we have to offer? Do we allow others to share their experiences with us and vice versa? My mind frame the last two weeks has been on astronauts, rocket ships, take-offs and outer space in preparation for our Kindergarten Roundup and bringing in new families to ILS! A lot of preparation goes into these events, the same way so much preparation goes into the little lives of our children-before we “launch” them out into the real world in a rocket ship headed who knows where! Thankfully, God “can do infinitely more than all we can ask or imagine according to the power that is working among us.” We don’t do this thing called “Christian education” alone! That’s what makes it so awesome! God is the “driver” of this rocket ship and loves us to infinity and beyond!

KEEP SWIMMING
The kids were off to Lake Crystal today! The anxiety is heightened when we have 55 children that we’re accountable for in a completely different capacity, where so many things can happen! But, boy, do the kids look forward to this day EVERY year! The excitement is heightened as well! What student doesn’t want a day out of the classroom— a refresher!
Of course, if you don’t know me well enough by now, it reminds me of a phrase in a movie. (Email the name of the movie, and you’ll be entered in a chance to win a prize from the office)! “Just keep swimming,” they say. Or we’ve all heard the phrase, “just trying to keep my head above water.”
Sometimes, whether we’re adults or kids, life puts us in our place, knocks us down, or just makes us feel like we’re drowning! We all need a breather sometimes. Overcoming all the sickness going around. Trying to maintain homes and family time with all the busy schedules. Helping our children with classroom subjects they may be struggling with. Work piling up or negative work environment taking hold. There are hard times EVERYWHERE. Keep pushing through and ASKING THE LORD FOR GUIDANCE EACH DAY!
Remember:
Step by step, prayer by prayer-the Lord will always get you there.
Take on some of that excitement and enthusiasm from the students and
“Just keep swimming!”
