This is your test for the week.
If you read this, let me know. (Everyone likes prizes— there may be one for you!) This is our main form of communication with you each week. If you need paper copies, please let us know. If you have questions, please ask. A LOT of things happen, times are very busy, and this is a simple way of keeping EVERYONE informed at one time. Sometimes the email itself also contains reminders, so please don’t pass the “Eagle Express” emails off if you feel you don’t need to read the newsletter for the week.
We don’t want anyone missing out on things!
This is not a reprimand, but rather a friendly reminder that we all want to be on the same page! ONE BIG HAPPY FAMILY 😊
Have a wonderful weekend!

…how often will by brother sin against me and I forgive him? As many
as 7 times? Jesus said to him, “I do not say to you 7 times, but
seventy times seven. “ ~ Matthew 18:21-22 ~
FORGIVENESS
Well, I’ve been trying, really, really hard to be really, really nice to our copier company the past couple of weeks. I believe we were handed a lemon; and today, I had to stress to them, that I am very sorry, but this was the last time I would be calling about this machine and they would need to be bringing me a new one. I expressed that I understand it is now Lent season, and forgiveness is talked a lot about here, but I’m only human.
No, forgiveness is not something we joke about, but it does seem to help when we lighten the situation up a bit when things get tough. It’s not easy to forgive. Especially if it’s over and over and over again. But the passage above tells us, not 7 times, but 70 x 7 (or in other words-over and over and over again). It isn’t always easy to forgive, but if we focus on Christ and the cross and follow His example—we can see that we have the easy way out! He did it all for us. He completed the mission and took on brutal suffering and death so that we wouldn’t have to. He forgives us repeatedly. We can call on our “service technician” up in heaven and he will never let us down. He will always rescue us from our struggles no matter how many times we ask! On the last day, we will be given a new body in Christ that won’t need any repairs!
On a lighter note—
that’s what I am hoping for here—
a new machine—
with a lot less issues!
Have a blessed weekend!
